CHILD SPONSORSHIP

MONTHLY RENT FOR LEASED PROPERTY

For the Children’s Center (Orphanage), cost $600 (sh.60,000) per month

MACECALL-OWNED FARM DEVELOPMENT

Installation of a solar powered irrigation system on our 13-acre farm to enable us grow food throughout the year.  Cost $3,000 (sh.300,000)

FARM AND FIELD TRANSPORT

A motorcycle for running farm errands and food transport. Cost $1,500 (sh.150,000)

A 4WD Double Cabin pick-up for field work and farm produce transport -cost $20,000 (sh.2 Million)

REPAIRS, RENOVATION AND EQUIPPING OF THE CHILDREN’S CENTER

The children’s center (orphanage) is located on a property that is leased for 10 years until 2029. Repairs, partitioning of dormitories and equipping of the current premises to make them hospitable and child-friendly.  Cost $5,500 (sh.550,000)

WATER TANKS
2 water tanks of 10,000 litres each for water harvesting and storage. Cost $1,600 (sh.160,000)

CHILD TRANSPORT

A 32-seater minibus to transport of children to church, school, and other engagements.  Cost $30,000 (sh.3 million)

WASHING MACHINE

Currently laundry for all 50 children is hand-washed.  A washing machine would help us use time more efficiently to meet other needs of the children.  Cost $1,000 (sh.100,000)

PURCHASE OF LAND FOR MACECALL VILLAGE

Land to put up a permanent home for the children  – target 20 acres at $200,000 (sh.20 million)
